It is sort of a side view, just to give you some idea of what we are looking at here. There is the mouth, which has a "tube that connects to the stomach." Then there is the butt and the penis. I kindly placed strips of paper over the penises... they are just a little too realistic. I wanted to spare you the graphic nature of these pictures. Then he draws the butt, which, like the penis, connects directly to the stomach. He writes BUTT and PEE on each of these. The vertical line with cross marks through it? That is the "backbone." Then at the top, there is the "brain with the two brain buttons under it." I have no idea what brain buttons are. I am guessing that maybe a teacher at school says, Turn on your brain buttons? Hmmmm.... I wish there really were two buttons to activate/deactivate your brain. Think of all the ways these buttons could come in handy. Oh, and then there is the heart. I think this is a pretty decent depiction of a human body. He has got the in tube and the out tubes, the major organs... I started to explain to him that your "pee-pee and butt tubes" don't connect directly to your stomach, but then I just thought, you know, let's just leave it. Jonathan is always thinking about something. One of the many things I love about him.
Jonathan, Anna and Dave went to Science night at his school last night. I missed it because I was running a fever and sick. But Jonathan really got into it, I guess. I am sort of glad I wasn't there. The fact that he only wore one glove while going through whatever is on that plate is really grossing me out. I am guessing they are owl pellets? He told me this morning he got every stamp. I guess they were given a passport and got a stamp for each station.

Yes, I made them both wash their hands. I would've taken more pictures, but Anna wanted me to hold her the whole time. I think she was tired and the room was full of people. Jonathan's favorite part was looking through the telescope at the moon.
