Dave came up with a new trick for disciplining Anna. Dave discovered if he threatens to put giant Barbie in timeout, she gets really upset. Giant Barbie's timeout spot is up on the armoire in our bedroom. Anna gets very hysterical and dramatic when Barbie goes in timeout. I am not sure if she feels empathy for Barbie, or if she feels like we are taking her toy away from her. Even if she has not played with her all day, she still gets very upset when Barbie has to take a timeout.
