Mom-isms

Here's a list of some of the things my Mom says often, and used to say to me as a kid:



"Put a smile on your face and a song in your heart!"

"Be a shiner, not a whiner!"

"Be a hero, not a zero!"

"Let's get a move on! Come on, what are we waiting for??"

"Take what you get and don't have a fit!"

"Go to bed! I want to see you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning!"

"The older you get, the bolder you get."

"You've gotta keep moving!"

"Sometimes you have to laugh, or you'll cry."



All in all, not bad advice.
